Caring for Your Saree
Each product page lists care instructions for its fabric. These three habits help protect silk, zari and embroidery between wears.
- 1Dry clean silk and zari
Silk, organza, georgette and zari sarees should be dry cleaned only. Cotton and linen can be hand washed gently after the first dry clean.
- 2Store folded in cotton
Wrap the saree in a cotton or muslin cloth, away from damp and sunlight. Plastic covers trap moisture.
- 3Refold every few months
Changing the fold lines keeps zari and embroidery from creasing along one line.
